The Aisle Master Order Picker (AME-OP) from material handling specialist Combilift, simplifies order picking in warehouses, turns storage space into a profit zone, and can help you optimise your racking layout by reducing aisle widths.

Designed for very narrow aisle (VNA) applications, the AME-OP is a stand-on electric-powered model that combines the benefits of a narrow aisle articulated forklift with those of an order picker, making it suitable for various warehouse operations.

The AME-OP truck incorporates all the key advantages of the conventional Aisle Master, eliminating the need for multiple forklift types, and allowing for seamless operation both indoors and outdoors. Its capability to transition from the yard to the rack without requiring double handling significantly enhances productivity.

With the capability to operate in aisle widths as narrow as 1.65m and lift heights of up to 12m, these trucks enable businesses to increase storage capacity by up to 50% within their existing footprint. The low floor height of just 280mm enables convenient, single-step access from both sides of the truck which speeds up order picking compared to the operator having to get in and out from a seated position.

Warehouse Manager Steve Chapman has confirmed that the introduction of the stand-on AME-OP has proven to be ideal for their operations: “The low floor height and single-step access to this order picker avoids the need for the operator to have to continually climb in and out of the cab, so from an ergonomic and H&S point of view it is superb and reduces the risk of trips, strain and fatigue.
