North India’s cotton yarn prices may rise further next month
North India’s cotton yarn prices inched up by ₹1 per kg in Ludhiana post-Holi, driven by rising cotton costs. However, weak garment demand may keep prices under pressure until the month-end. Experts anticipate a possible rise next month as cotton prices have increased by 2 per cent in two weeks. Limited trade was seen in Delhi and Panipat, but demand is expected to improve in April.
