NEXTCHEM wins deal for ultra-low carbon methanol plant in Mexico

MAIRE’s NEXTCHEM unit KT Tech won a licensing contract for its NX AdWinMethanol Zero tech at Pacifico Mexinol, a 2.1 Mtpa ultra-low carbon methanol plant in Mexico. Set for 2028, it will produce 350 Kt green and 1.8 Mt blue methanol. The deal, part of a €250 million ($260.14 million) package, advances decarbonisation. MAIRE and Transition Industries highlight its role in clean chemical production.
