UK wine importer Mentzendorff has added the first alcohol-free wine to its portfolio to capitalise on the "real growth and appetite for no/low offerings" among consumers.
Beau Viva, a 0% ABV sparkling rosé made by Provence producer Maison Saint Aix, has been listed as Mentzendorff's first non-alcoholic wine.
The alcohol-free wine will join its portfolio from April following its debut at this year's Mentzendorff Portfolio Tasting on Tuesday 4 March.

The latest IWSR data has revealed that the no and low alcohol category in the UK has experienced a one-off boost to low-alcohol volumes in the past couple of years. As a result, the total UK no and low market is expected to have more than doubled in 2024 versus 2023.
No and low alcohol wine is a small part of the pie compared with the beer category, which dominates alcohol-free drinks sales in the UK. However, non-alcoholic wine performed well last year, growing 8% in 2024. Low-alcohol wine, conversely, fell 5% year on year in 2024.
Scott-Gall said of Mentzendorff's latest partnership: "We are delighted to take our first steps into this category with the Beau Viva alcohol-free sparkling rosé from Maison Saint Aix in Provence.”
The wine has been created by Nicolas Quiles, winemaker at Maison Saint Aix. Mentzendorff has been partnering with the Provence rosé producer since March 2018.
Beau Viva will be available in the UK from April 2025 with an RSP of £28. The wine is produced using grapes from the South of France before alcohol is extracted using vacuum distillation.
