India's retail inflation hits 6-year low; falls to 4.6% in FY25: Govt
Consumer price index (CPI)-based inflation in India fell to 4.6 per cent in FY25, the lowest since FY19, according to the Ministry of Finance. The YoY inflation rate for March this year dropped to 3.34 per cent—a drop of 27 bps from February, marking the lowest monthly inflation rate since August 2019. Headline inflation fell from 3.79 per cent in February to 3.25 per cent in March.
