India’s MMF & blended yarn markets see mixed trends, FDY yarn up
India’s man-made and blended yarn markets showed mixed trends amid sluggish demand and geopolitical uncertainty. Polyester-cotton and spun yarn prices fell in Ludhiana, while specialised polyester yarn rose in Surat due to supply shortages. Viscose yarn remained steady, except for a decline in vortex yarn. North India’s cotton prices also declined, driven by weak demand and falling ICE cotton futures.
