George at Asda is launching its first bridesmaid collection in March, in a bid to provide "an affordable alternative" to wedding outfits.

George at Asda is launching its first bridesmaid collection next month, in a bid to provide “an affordable alternative” to wedding outfits.
The range features four different styles of dress, including chiffon sleeves, halter necks, and two multiway options, according to Drapers.
The bridesmaid collection comes in navy, pale pink, and sage, and is available in sizes 8-24.
Dress prices range from £24 for the halter necks to £32 for the multiway options.
The collection will roll out on the George at Asda website on 8 March.
The collection arrives after George unveiled its new activewear line, Gym Locker, last month across 50 stores following a successful online trial last autumn.
The retailer described the collection as “an affordable answer to high quality, contemporary athleisure” for both women and men, featuring cream, mauve, and muted grey “timeless pieces that are designed to be worn both in and out of the gym”.
In April, George reported “soaring growth” across online and in-store fashion sales over the sector’s most recent six month-period.
Asda claimed its clothing brand was “significantly outperforming the market, cementing its position as one of the UK’s largest and most successful fashion retailers”.
