ICE cotton rises again on weak dollar, tariffs limit gains

ICE cotton futures extended gains for a second day, supported by a weaker US dollar, which boosted the competitiveness of US agricultural exports. However, gains were capped by favourable US weather forecasts and trade policy uncertainty. July 2025 cotton settled at 66.37 cents/lb. Traders await USDA export data. Brazil’s 2025 cotton output is projected at 9.07 million tons.
