ICE cotton futures rebound on bargain buying and short covering

ICE cotton futures rebounded on Monday after an early drop, driven by bargain hunting and short covering. May 2025 contract rose by 4.15 per cent to 65.99 cents per pound. Vietnam, the top US cotton importer in 2025, showed positive trade intent. US cotton planting progress reached 4 per cent, lagging behind last year. Other agricultural futures were mixed.
