Human Tendon‐on‐a‐Chip for Modeling the Myofibroblast Microenvironment in Peritendinous Fibrosis (Adv. Healthcare Mater. 4/2025)
Advanced Healthcare Materials, Volume 14, Issue 4, February 7, 2025.

Tendon-on-a-Chip
A novel human Tendon-on-a-Chip model replicates aspects of the myofibroblast microenvironment in peritendinous adhesions. This chip sheds light on cellular and molecular crosstalk between immune cells, endothelial cells, and myofibroblasts, offering a powerful tool for drug testing and de-risking drug development for fibrotic diseases.
