Early Intervention in Patients With Asymptomatic Severe Aortic Stenosis and Myocardial Fibrosis

To the Editor A recent randomized clinical trial indicated that for patients with asymptomatic severe aortic stenosis and myocardial fibrosis, early surgical intervention showed no significant difference on all-cause death or unplanned aortic stenosis–related hospitalization compared with conservative management. To enhance the clinical relevance of this study, I suggest several supplemental analyses.
