Deliveroo unveils white label delivery service with Tesco’s Whoosh as first partner
Deliveroo has launched a new white label solution, named Deliveroo Express

Deliveroo has launched a new white label solution, named Deliveroo Express, designed for grocers and retailers in the UK and Ireland, enabling them to offer rapid, on-demand delivery through their own online channels.
The service marks a major expansion of the delivery giant’s grocery offering, which now accounts for 16% of the company’s gross transaction value (GTV), following strong double-digit growth.
Tesco has become the first partner to launch Deliveroo Express, as it trials Tesco Whoosh in Ireland, using Deliveroo’s logistics technology and rider network.
Deliveroo said its new solution allows grocers and retailers to integrate on-demand delivery directly into their existing websites or apps. Customers can select the delivery option at checkout, with all customer service and communication remaining under the retailer’s branding. Deliveroo handles the delivery logistics, including rider management and order fulfillment, while the retailer maintains control over the customer experience.
The Tesco Whoosh trial, operating from three stores in Ireland—Donnybrook, Spencer Dock, and Newmarket Yards—offers customers within a 4.5km radius access to over 3,000 products, with deliveries arriving within 45 minutes.
The service will initially be available to customers shopping through Tesco’s online platform, where they will be informed that Deliveroo powers the delivery service.
Deliveroo VP of New Verticals Suzy McClinktock said: “Deliveroo Express is our latest innovation as our business seeks to transform the way consumers shop and eat. The new white label service complements our existing offer, giving partners the ability to integrate our model into their own online channels and maintain autonomy over customer interaction, while leveraging our extensive rider network and logistics infrastructure to fulfill orders fast.”
The launch of Deliveroo Express builds on the success of the company’s grocery business, which has partnered with major UK supermarkets including Morrisons, Co-op, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, and others since 2018.
Deliveroo said it is now poised to expand the new service beyond the UK and Ireland, further capitalising on the growing demand for on-demand grocery and retail deliveries.
McClinktock added: “We see significant growth potential in on-demand grocery and retail delivery, with speed and convenience no longer desirable but a basic consumer expectation. With more grocers and retailers entering on-demand, we are adeptly placed to support them in reaching more customers in less time.”
The Tesco Whoosh trial is the first step in what could be a wider rollout of the service across more locations in Ireland, with expansion plans in place for the future.
