Award-winning chef Daniel Boulud is headed to Hong Kong. In partnership with Mandarin Oriental and LANDMARK, the French culinary icon will debut Terrace Boulud in January 2026—his first restaurant in Asia and a striking addition to his international portfolio, which includes the MICHELIN-starred Daniel in New York.

Perched on the 25th floor of LANDMARK PRINCE’S in Central Hong Kong, Terrace Boulud will bring the spirit of the modern French bistro to new heights—literally. The expansive rooftop setting, connected to Mandarin Oriental via an enclosed skywalk, will offer sweeping views of Victoria Harbour and the city skyline, along with Boulud’s signature blend of refined technique, soulful execution, and worldly flavor.

The opening marks a milestone not just for Boulud, but for Mandarin Oriental as well. Known for defining luxury hospitality since 1963, the group is extending its culinary footprint beyond the walls of its iconic flagship hotel for the very first time. Terrace Boulud will anchor Mandarin Oriental’s presence within the newly reimagined LANDMARK, a cornerstone of the US$1 billion “Tomorrow’s CENTRAL” transformation by Hongkong Land.

Designed by Malherbe Paris—who also oversee the redesign of Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong’s public and wellness spaces—the restaurant draws inspiration from the golden era of French brasseries and the romance of luxury train travel. Warm woods, layered lighting, curved architectural details and bespoke finishes will create a setting that blends Parisian elegance with Hong Kong’s dynamic energy.

On the plate, Boulud will take guests on a journey guided by his four culinary muses:

  • La Tradition (timeless French classics),

  • La Saison (market-driven seasonal fare),

  • Le Potager (vegetable-forward creations), and

  • Le Voyage (global influences inspired by his travels).
    Expect a vibrant mix of French and Asian flavors, an ever-changing seasonal menu, and refined simplicity that lets the ingredients speak for themselves.

Lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner will be served in the dining room, with cocktails and curated wines available late into the night on the rooftop terrace—an atmospheric setting destined to become one of Hong Kong’s most sought-after reservations.

Construction is set to begin in May 2025.
