China will raise tariffs on US goods to 84 per cent from 34 per cent starting tomorrow, in response to the US increasing tariffs on Chinese imports to 104 per cent. Beijing condemned the move as a violation of its rights and urged the US to reverse its actions. China labelled the US measures as "unilateral bullying" and announced countermeasures, rejecting what it called Trump’s “tax blackmail”.
