Biocompatible Metal-Organic Framework-Based Fabric Composite as an Efficient Personal Protective Equipment for Particulate Matter-Induced Pulmonary Injury (Adv. Healthcare Mater. 4/2025)

Personal Protective Equipment

Copper-based metal-organic frameworks with great adsorbing/antioxidant/antibacterial performance and high biosafety are developed using a facile oxygen-free hydrothermal approach. After the incorporation with cellulose acetate membrane, these fabric composites can reduce the unwanted pulmonary toxicity and avoid the behavioral changes in mice after the exposure of particulate matter. More details can be found in article 2403061 by Xingfu Bao, Nan Tang, Min Hu, Zhen Liu, and co-workers.
