Air Tool Lubricants Offer Better Lubricity

Air Tool Lubricants have better natural lubricity than petroleum-based oils. They contain ingredients which are Generally Regarded as Safe (GRAS), are tasteless and odorless, so they do not impart any unwanted properties to the food products being manufactured. These bio-based, food-grade lubricants do not harm the air, water, soil, or work environment if there is a spill or leak, making them safer for the environment and the employees using them (especially if the air tool being used leaves an oil mist in the air). They emulsify water for improved lubricity and corrosion protection in moist conditions.
Ideal for both rotary and reciprocating air tools, Bio-Food Grade Air Tool Lubricants can be fed through an airline lubricator or with a squirt directly into the tool through the quick coupling air connection. New Benchtop Ionizer Removes Static at a Distance

This Ionizer delivers a consistent stream of ionized airflow, effectively eliminating static and particulates without the need for compressed air. The Varistat is now available in 230 volts to meet the needs of industrial locations. Easily mounted on benchtops or machines, this static eliminator is manually adjustable and perfect for processes needing comprehensive coverage.
The new Varistat sets itself apart from other fan-driven static eliminators by offering highly adjustable features and allowing for versatility. Conveyor Equipped with Advanced Filtration and Coolant Solutions
Jorgensen Conveyor and Filtration Systems (Mequon, WI), now a member of the Innovance family of companies, offers the EcoFilter® Filtration Conveyor equipped with advanced filtration and coolant solutions. At IMTS 2024, the company featured the EcoFilter® 80 self-cleaning conveyor equipped with a Will-Fill automated coolant solution and PermaClean system.
Jorgensen’s EcoFilter 80 self-cleaning conveyor enables efficient filtration of fine chips to 80-microns nominal and is the first economical non-drum style conveyor below 100-micron filtration. EcoFilter conveyors use a two-stage chip removal and filtration process that carries out large chips on a hinged steel belt. Fine chips flow with used coolant between the belt runs to a flow-through EcoFilter cell where they are separated from the coolant.
Clean coolant is discharged to the coolant tank while filtered fines are brushed from the filter screen and flow to the bottom of the conveyor. There they are picked up by the belt cleats and discharged. By dramatically reducing the number of chips migrating to a machine tool coolant tank, it decreases downtime for tank cleaning and maintenance. As a result, users see improved pump, tooling and coolant life for less waste and better part surface finishes.
In addition to the EcoFilter 80, the company offers an EcoFilter® 200 option for filtration of fine chips to 200 microns. The conveyors fit a standard conveyor envelope and can be retrofitted to Jorgensen EcoFilter-ready conveyors.
The EcoFilter 80 displayed at IMTS was equipped with the revolutionary Will-Fill add-on solution that offers trouble-free care and monitoring of metalworking emulsion. The system combines automatic measuring, filling and conditioning and can alert operators via Wi-Fi capability when attention is required. The system easily adapts to Jorgensen’s line of filtration systems as well as retrofits onto customers’ existing coolant systems. Added to the system was Jorgensen’s PermaClean Filtration System that eliminates sludge by adding agitation to the coolant collection tank. PermaClean can be incorporated into Jorgensen’s multi-step filtration system that includes the EcoFilter® conveyor, additional filtration and fine filtration for high-pressure applications. It is also adaptable as an option to many filtration systems on the market.
