Vietnam’s retail sales up 9.5% YoY in Jan; 8.3% rise for garment sales
Vietnam's total retail sales of consumer goods and services in January increased by about 9.5 per cent YoY and 2.7 per cent month on month to 573.3 trillion VND (~$22.6 billion), according to the General Statistics Office. Of that, revenue from retail sales of goods were estimated at $441.4 trillion VND—an 8.3 per cent increase YoY. Retail sales of garments grew by 8.3 per cent YoY in the month.
