In true Fontainebleau fashion, the opening celebration was a scene. Guests included Tom’s parents, Galynn and Tom Sr.; Kobe Bryant’s sister, Shaya Bryant-Tabb; author Stedman Graham; broadcasting icon Marv Albert; and Fontainebleau Las Vegas President Maurice Wooden, among others.
“The Hall of Excellence isn’t just a museum—it’s a movement,” Gray told the crowd. “It’s a place that challenges us to be better, to reflect, and to remember what greatness really looks like.”
The Hall lives up to the hype. Inside, you’ll find everything from Jackie Robinson’s bat and Muhammad Ali’s fight gloves to Oprah Winfrey’s Presidential Medal of Freedom and all seven of Brady’s Super Bowl rings. There’s Kobe’s first nationally televised game jersey, Billie Jean King’s legendary tennis dress, Tiger Woods’ golf ball from his first Masters win, and Clint Eastwood’s Oscar for Unforgiven—just to name a few. Even Vegas is represented, with rings from the Las Vegas Aces’ back-to-back WNBA Championships and the Golden Knights’ Stanley Cup win.

Each artifact is paired with storytelling that goes beyond stats. A self-guided audio tour—narrated by Morgan Freeman, naturally—lets guests dive into the backstories, with commentary from icons like Oprah, Jim Nantz, Bob Costas, Tom Brady, and many more.
And then there’s the trophy room. It’s as epic as you’d imagine: the Vince Lombardi Trophy, the Heisman, the Larry O’Brien, the Claret Jug, Olympic gold medals, a full sweep of EGOT awards—every major symbol of greatness under one roof.

“The way this came together… it’s beyond what I imagined,” Soffer said. “It takes you back—to childhood, to the moments that shaped you.”
The Hall of Excellence is officially open June 20 at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. And yes, it’s a must-see.
