At the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2026 Men’s show kicked off Men’s Fashion Week in Paris. Louis Vuitton unveiled its Spring-Summer 2026 Men’s collection, a vibrant homage to modern Indian sartorialism curated by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams. In collaboration with Studio Mumbai, led by architect Bijoy Jain, the show transformed the venue into a life-size rendition of the ancient Indian game Snakes and Ladders, symbolizing possibility and exploration—a fitting metaphor for Williams’ vision of a global community united by Louis Vuitton’s discerning craftsmanship.

The collection draws inspiration from India’s rich sensory landscape, blending urban vibrancy with natural serenity. A sun-drenched dandy aesthetic defines the line, with fine cloths appearing faded or brushed, evoking a tactile, timeworn elegance. Tailoring takes a soft, lived-in approach, layering jackets, waistcoats, and shirts with trousers or shorts for a spontaneous silhouette. The palette, inspired by Indian cityscapes and nature, features purples replacing blacks and sun-bleached shades that shift across textiles, creating organic depth.

A standout feature is the revival of motifs from Wes Anderson’s 2007 film The Darjeeling Limited, with Louis Vuitton’s custom designs for the movie now adorning embroideries, prints, and bags. The collection also introduces a brown denim wash, inspired by coffee beans, woven to reveal white threads over time, complemented by aged-gold trims and VVN leather loops. Accessories like the Speedy P9 bag and LV BUTTERSOFT Sneaker embody a signature softness, crafted in supple leathers and exotics, while mountaineering-inspired pieces—shell jackets, fleece-like blousons, and hiking boots—are elevated with heritage patterns and opulent embellishments.

The show’s scenography, designed by Studio Mumbai, reflects a fusion of Indian tradition and modernity, emphasizing the relationship between man and nature. Hand-painted signage, inspired by urban India’s faded aesthetics, informs graphics like the chipped Louis Vuitton Malletier Paris 7001 logo and languished stripes drawn from the House’s archival luggage. Exceptional bags, including the Speedy P9 in faded-pastel ostrich and green crocodile, and encrusted trunks inspired by Gaston-Louis Vuitton’s antique collection, showcase unparalleled savoir-faire. Footwear, from the no-left-no-right LV Jazz lace-ups to the LV Remix hiking boot, carries the soul of age and wear, while jewelry and sunglasses, treated with filigree and semi-precious stones, add a luxurious touch.
The immersive experience was amplified by a bold soundtrack composed by Pharrell Williams, featuring Voices of Fire, l’Orchestre du Pont Neuf, and collaborations with A. R. Rahman, Clipse, Doechii, and Tyler, the Creator. Tracks like “Miracle Worker” and “Get Right” underscored the show’s global narrative, weaving culture and creativity into a spectacle of connection.
