Conjugated Oligoelectrolyte-Enhanced mRNA-Lipid Nanoparticles

In article 2405048, Eng Eong Ooi, Guillermo C. Bazan, and co-workers present a simple ex situ approach to integrate COEs into mRNA-LNPs, enhancing their efficacy. Using just 0.2% COE-S6, a remarkably low amount, one observes significant increases in in cellula transfection and in vivo protein expression. The cover image depicts COEs' fluorescence (green) and enhanced protein expression (red), showcasing COE-mRNA-LNPs' superior performance over unmodified LNPs for therapeutics.
