Sweden’s H&M nears 2025 sustainability goals ahead of schedule
H&M’s 2024 report shows 89 per cent of materials were recycled or sustainably sourced, with recycled content hitting 29.5 per cent. Emissions dropped 41 per cent (scopes 1 & 2) and 24 per cent (scope 3). Plastic packaging fell 54 per cent, coal use in factories declined, water use improved, second-hand markets expanded, and worker protections were strengthened.
