Plastic Mouldings Northern is delighted to officially announce the appointment of Geoff Hodgson as Managing Director at its Bishop Auckland site. The appointment swiftly follows a period of staff expansion to the management team which saw Grace Collingwood (Internal Sales Co-ordinator) Lewis Rigg (CAD/CAM Engineer) and Matthew Whittle (Sales Manager) join business partners Freddy Bourdais and Mark Rigg who founded the business in 2002 on the senior management team. Geoff joins the team following 13 years with Formula Plastics Ltd as Managing Director, alongside previous positions as Production Manager and Operations Director.

Tosca is pleased to announce the opening of a new, state-of-the art service centre in Ingolstadt, Germany. With a total area of approximately 2,700 m², the centre is strategically positioned to cater to the growing demand for Tosca’s innovative reusable plastic products and pooling services in the region. Rotom Europe, the sustainable pallet provider, announced that Arjan Kuiper stepped down as CEO effective January 2025. This decision marks the end of an era for Arjan Kuiper, who has played a key role in the transformation of the company over the past three decades. Arjan Kuiper joined Rotom in 1993, when it was a small pallet company with 16 employees and a turnover of €2 million.
It’s excellent to see so much activity in the pallet sector, especially from providers of sustainable solutions.
