Cell therapy veteran Arie Belldegrun is expanding his empire, bringing in two new managing directors at Vida Ventures after two founders left late last year.
The VC firm announced Wednesday that it has hired longtime J.P. Morgan portfolio manager Matt Cohen and former MPM BioImpact partner Brian Goodman as managing directors. Cohen will steer public market investing — a first for the firm — while Goodman will work on creating and financing private startups.
They join Helen Kim and Rajul Jain on the firm’s leadership team. Kim and Jail have both been with Vida since 2019 and previously worked with Belldegrun at Kite Pharma.
