The Selfless Love Foundation (SLF) marked a decade of transforming lives with a moving and memorable gala on March 29, 2025. Held at the luxurious Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, the evening celebrated the nonprofit’s remarkable impact on the foster care system since its founding in 2015.
Ashley Brown, founder and CEO of Selfless Love Foundation, co-founded the organization with her husband Ed Brown to change the trajectory of children in foster care. Ten years later, SLF has facilitated more than 500 adoptions and provided thousands of hours of training to youth aging out of the system.

The evening unfolded with elegance—lush pink floral installations, signature cocktails, and exclusive auction items welcomed guests into a space filled with heart. Stories from families and youth showcased how SLF’s work has built legacies that extend far beyond Florida.
One of the night’s defining moments was the presentation of the Heart for Impact Award to Eloise and John Paul DeJoria. Their unwavering commitment to SLF’s mission has fueled the organization’s expansion from Florida to Texas. Their philanthropic footprint is visible not only in dollars raised, but in the futures made possible.
In a powerful tribute, Tony Robbins—renowned author and motivational speaker—delivered a special video message honoring the DeJorias. His words added a personal and inspirational tone to an already heartfelt evening.

Reflecting on the milestone, Ashley Brown said, “When Ed and I started Selfless Love Foundation, we never imagined what would happen in 10 years. The families that have been created through adoption and the youth who are succeeding against all odds are the living legacies of Selfless Love that our supporters have helped to build.”
The celebration also recognized SLF’s legislative accomplishments. One of its landmark victories was passing a Florida law that protects the images of children in foster care awaiting adoption, helping shield their dignity while increasing their chances of finding a family.

SLF’s impact goes well beyond adoption. In collaboration with Children’s Harbor, the foundation created Brown’s Harbor, a unique residential program that offers housing and guidance to youth aging out of care. These young adults receive over 13,000 hours of life and leadership training to prepare them for independence.
The gala’s success was elevated by generous support from sponsors who continue to invest in this mission.
