Porsche Will Now Give You a Tattoo of Your New Car

I have tattoos. Nearly every other middle-aged dude with a beard here in New England has tattoos, and now, all of us can have our next Porsche etched into our skin eternally, at least as part of an April Fool’s joke. Porsche Will Now Give You a Tattoo of Your New Car

I have tattoos. Nearly every other middle-aged dude with a beard here in New England has tattoos, and now, all of us can have our next Porsche etched into our skin eternally, at least as part of an April Fool’s joke. The automaker announced a “new” program that lets buyers receive a tattoo from the brand’s in-house artist to match their new Porsche vehicle.

Porsche said buyers can show their devotion to the brand with the new Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur tattoo studio program. “Every car in the Porsche model range is available fo the tattooist, Pia Florol, to transfer onto the skin of those customers who choose to have the tattoo.”

The tattoo colors will be formulated exactly like the paints, so the ink will match the car’s color exactly. Six designs are available, with one for each of the automaker’s current models. “From there, it’s a short stroll to a comfortable chair and, after signing a few forms, Pia will get to work on your Porsche tattoo. There’s never been a more unique way of showing off your new car and sharing your Porsche passion with the world.”

This is all humor for the first of April, but it’s likely not far off reality for some Porsche fanatics. People obsess over their 911’s rare color and specifications, so why not ink yourself to match?
