Olive Garden Is Offering Free Delivery on 1 Million Online and Mobile Orders

Olive Garden is offering inflation-weary customers a slight break on its delivery fees — but only for a limited time.

Per a press release shared with RetailWire, the convenience of having your favorite Italian comfort cuisine delivered straight to your house has just gotten better. As of May 12, Olive Garden is giving away free delivery on 1 million orders to celebrate its newest nationwide delivery service.

Enter the code OGDELIVERS at checkout to avoid paying for delivery when placing an order on OliveGarden.com or via the Olive Garden mobile app. From breadsticks to traditional dinners like Fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken Parmigiana, Spaghetti & Meatballs, Stuffed Chicken Marsala, and more, you may browse the menu with your “stay-in squad” and enjoy your favorite meals at home or on the road, all at the same price as at the restaurant.

Olive Garden Began Offering Its Own Delivery Service in February

Fans of the Italian-themed restaurant chain can now enjoy their favorite classic dishes without ever leaving their homes, thanks to the casual dining establishment’s new delivery service. All Olive Garden locations nationwide now offer delivery services, allowing customers to get breadsticks, soup, salad, and other favorites brought right to their door.

“We understand that our guests don’t always have the time to dine in our restaurants, and our new delivery service gives our guests a convenient way to get all of their favorite dishes. Guests can now enjoy our freshly baked breadsticks and scratch-made sauces like the always-favorite fettuccine alfredo and so much more delivered right to their doorstep,” said Jaime Bunker, senior vice president of marketing, exclusively to RetailWire.

The restaurant offers this service through a partnership with Uber Direct, and it works as follows:

  • Customers can place orders through OliveGarden.com or the restaurant’s app.
  • Meals are freshly prepared and delivered to their doorstep by an Uber driver.
  • To qualify for delivery, customers must reside within an 8-mile radius of their nearest restaurant.
  • Orders up to $350 are eligible for standard delivery, while larger orders can be fulfilled through the company’s catering service.
