Chuck E. Cheese Is Offering Its New Dippin’ Dots Flavor for Free on May 14

Chuck E. Cheese is unveiling a new Dippin’ Dots flavor and offering its customers the chance to try it for free for one day only.

Per a company press release, Chuck E.’s Cookie Crunch is a brand-new flavor exclusively available at Chuck E. Cheese restaurants around the country thanks to a partnership between the entertainment restaurant and Dippin’ Dots. This is the first Dippin’ Dots flavor to be named after the well-known figure and permanently featured on the Chuck E. Cheese menu, which is only available at its fun centers around the country.

The entertainment-based restaurant has declared May 14 as “National Chuck E.’s Cookie Crunch Day” to commemorate the introduction and mark the brand’s 48th anniversary. Guests can use a coupon on this page to get a complimentary small Chuck E.’s Cookie Crunch Dippin’ Dots at participating locations around the country.

“Chuck E.’s Cookie Crunch is all about bringing more fun to families in a way only Chuck E. Cheese can,” said Chuck E. Cheese Executive Vice President Mark Kupferman. “Together with Dippin’ Dots, we’ve created a treat that’s as playful, colorful, and memorable as Chuck E. himself — made with the cookie flavors kids have told us they love most.”

Chuck E. Cheese Has Bounced Back Nicely From Its Bankruptcy

In mid-2020, Chuck E. Cheese’s parent company, CEC Entertainment, declared bankruptcy. More than four years later, the children’s entertainment restaurant rebranded itself after paying off $705 million of its pre-bankruptcy debt, drawing in both new customers and those who hadn’t been there in years.

The actual paper tickets and the well-known animatronics are no longer available. When children enter the restaurant today, they are greeted by Jumbotrons, computerized dance floors, and trampolines. Kidz Bop provides the music, while well-known brands like Paw Patrol and Marvel dominate the activities.

The menu has improved despite previously being a frequent source of conflict. Pizzas have changed from bland and generic to being created from scratch. The additional topping options include meatballs and BBQ chicken instead of only pepperoni and cheese. There are also alternatives for parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
