M&S freezes school uniform prices for fifth year in a row
M&S is holding prices on its school uniform range for the fifth consecutive year, as it doubles down on value and durability ahead of the Back-to-School season.

M&S is holding prices on its school uniform range for the fifth consecutive year, as it doubles down on value and durability ahead of the back-to-school season.
The retailer, which claims to lead the market during the busy summer trading period, has kept uniform prices unchanged since 2021 — with prices starting from £4.50 for a two-pack of stain-resistant cotton polo shirts.
Designed to stand the test of time, the range includes growth-proof hems, adjustable waistbands and permanent pleats, alongside “easy to iron” shirts and other innovations aimed at easing the school run for busy parents. M&S also continues to offer a 100-day returns policy on school uniform.
“As the UK market leaders during the Back-to-School season, we’re maintaining the magic of M&S,” said M&S kidswear director Alexandra Dimitriu.
“Trusted value and hand-me-down quality sit at the heart of what we offer in kidswear, which is why we have held our prices for the fifth year in a row.
“It’s not just about school uniform this summer either, we’ve also reduced prices by up to 20% on selected kids daywear, so whether it’s after school playtime or weekend activities, we’re ensuring families have everything they need this season.”
Earlier this year, M&S cut prices on over 100 everyday kidswear items, with up to 20% off and no “tricksy pricing” — a move designed to reinforce its value positioning in the category.
