THE WHAT? L’Occitane Group has announced the appointment of Adriana Nicolae as General Manager, APAC Travel Retail. Nicolae joins the French natural cosmetics company from LVMH’s DFS, where she held the role of Director, LVMH & Asian Brands, Global Merchandising.
THE DETAILS Nicolae’s CV lists multiple senior roles over her almost-seven years at DFS, prior to joining LVMH she worked for Parfums Christian Dior and kicked off her career in Lagardere Travel Retail. She will continue to be based in Hong Kong.
THE WHY? According to Nicolae’s LinkedIn profile, she brings more than 20 years of international experience in leading luxury brands or retailer’s brands portfolio across markets to this new position.
