THE WHAT? Aveda has announced the global roll out of its newly designed sample sachets. The redesign reflects The Estee Lauder Companies-owned brand’s commitment to responsible packaging solutions.
THE DETAILS The latest sachet design is the culmination of several years of perfecting a paper-based, locally recyclable sachet and is part of Aveda’s ongoing collaboration with Xela Pack. Crafted from recyclable FSC-certified paper, the sachets are designed to reduce plastic use by more than 80 percent compared to Aveda’s 10ml plastic tubes
THE WHY? Nicole Call, Director, Global Packaging Development, Aveda, reveals, “The redesign and global expansion of these sachets represents a powerful multi-year collaboration driven by the intersection of innovation, design for sustainability principles, and our desire to create meaningful experiences for our customers worldwide.
“We are proud to demonstrate that sustainability and high performance can go hand-in-hand, and it’s our hope that by integrating principles of recyclability and sustainability in packaging, we can continue to inspire meaningful change within the beauty industry.”
