B&Q retail director Paddy Earnshaw said: “Today’s opening of B&Q Altrincham is the start of eight new store openings throughout April and May.

“This enables us to deliver on our commitment to make every customer count and brings B&Q and TradePoint’s extensive offer of home improvement products and services to more customers across the UK and Ireland.

“It’s been a fast start to the year and a fantastic effort from teams across the whole business to convert these former-Homebase sites to the B&Q brand and offer so quickly. We’re delighted to now be welcoming our new customers to these stores.”
