IHCL to develop a 5th Taj Property in Mumbai, Taj Bandstand
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has committed a Rs 2,500 crore investment to develop Taj Bandstand, its 5th Taj property in Mumbai. The hotel will rise on a 2-acre plot previously occupied by the Sea Rock Hotel, which was acquired by the Tatas for Rs 680 crore in 2009. Taj Bandstand will feature 330 hotel rooms, 85 luxury apartments, multiple dining options, a convention centre, and a commercial complex.
