IGIA to introduce full-body scanner trials starting May
Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) is set to enhance its security measures with the introduction of advanced full-body scanners. Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) announced on Friday that trials for the new scanners will begin next month, in line with the latest guidelines from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS). As part of the trial phase, four state-of-the-art full-body scanners will be installed—two at Terminal 1 (T1) and two at Terminal 3 (T3).
