Milan Fashion Week is set to witness a unique cultural fusion as FENDI launches a citywide bookstore and newsstand takeover from February 24 to March 2, 2025. This bold initiative coincides with Milan Fashion Week and serves as the launchpad for FENDI’s centenary celebrations, spotlighting the Women’s and Men’s Fall/Winter 2025-2026 coed fashion show designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi. Marking 100 years since its founding in Rome, the luxury house is blending its rich heritage with a forward-thinking approach through this immersive event.

FENDI is transforming Milan’s bookstores and newsstands into vibrant showcases, featuring dedicated corners, window displays, and totem installations. At the heart of this takeover are two striking publications: FENDI Baguette ‘Hand in Hand’ and FENDI Peekaboo-k. These volumes chronicle the stories behind FENDI’s iconic bags—the Baguette and the Peekaboo—while celebrating the Maison’s legacy of innovation and artistry. Limited-edition copies autographed by Silvia Venturini Fendi will also be available, offering collectors a rare piece of the brand’s history.

These locations, steeped in Milan’s cultural fabric, provide the perfect backdrop for FENDI’s centennial narrative.
FENDI Hand in Hand
First released to celebrate the Baguette bag’s 25th anniversary, this book honors collaborations with 40 Italian artisans, spotlighting traditional techniques like vegetable leatherwork, coral crafting, and mosaic art. Photographer Lorenzo Vitturi captures these reinterpretations, merging photography and sculpture, while curators Eugenio Viola, Orsola de Castro, and Aldo Bakker offer thought-provoking essays on craftsmanship’s past, present, and future.

Marking 15 years since Silvia Venturini Fendi unveiled the Peekaboo in 2008, this volume explores the bag’s evolution through 80 archival pieces, divided into four chapters. Contributions from global creatives Sophie Fontanel, Kengo Kuma, Chloe Bailey, and Naomi Watts enrich the narrative, with a candid family discussion between Silvia, Delfina Delettrez Fendi, and Leonetta Luciano Fendi adding a personal touch to the tale of this playful yet timeless design.
