
The city of Austin is partnering with a nonprofit that helps connect people with significant housing barriers to vacant rental units.
Housing Connector, the nonprofit, uses “Zillow-powered technology to remove barriers to housing and match people with vacant units,” according to an announcement. So far, roughly 2,000 property owners in Austin have agreed to get on board, according to Austin Homeless Strategy Officer David Gray.
