Deliveroo and Wilko are extending their partnership, following the launch of the home and garden retailer on Deliveroo Shopping in October.
The retailer initially launched on the app across 10 Wilko hub locations, based in Edinburgh, Bristol, Nottingham, Bournemouth, Eccles, Manchester, Bedford, Harlow, Plymouth and Leeds, with 3,000 products on offer.
But now it is now expanding to 212 areas, including London, Newcastle, York, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Glasgow and Derby, with more than 14,000 products available to shoppers. The products will be price matched to Wilko’s in-store prices.
Alex Simpkin, group CEO of CDS Superstores, trading as Wilko, The Range and Homebase said: “It’s fantastic to expand our partnership with Deliveroo and make sure that Wilko is accessible to as many households as possible.
“The brand has a loyal customer following and we’re thrilled that we’re able to reach more shoppers via the app, ensuring that people can get their hands on all the great things you expect to see from Wilko in just 25 minutes!”
The expansion comes as Deliveroo Shopping continues to grow, catering to increasing customer demand for quick access to household necessities.
Following its launch in November 2023, the platform has welcomed various high-street brands such as Iceland, NotOnTheHighStreet, and B&Q.
Earlier this month, Boots extended its Advantage Card points to Uber Eats and Deliveroo, meaning shoppers would be able to earn points from purchases made using the platforms.
