US’ K-C launches the first tissue plant with full green energy path
Kimberly-Clark’s Koblenz site in Germany is set to become its first tissue facility with a pathway to 100 per cent renewable energy by 2029, supported by a German CCFD grant and European renewable power agreements. The transition will cut over 49,000 MTCO2e annually and supports K-C’s global goal to reduce scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50 per cent from 2015 levels.
