US Easter spending to reach $23.6 bn in 2025, nearing record high: NRF
US consumers are set to spend $23.6 billion on Easter, up from $22.4 billion in 2024, nearing the 2023 record. Despite economic uncertainty, 63 per cent of purchases are driven by tradition. Candy, food and clothing top the list, with $3.5 billion projected for apparel. Even non-celebrants plan to spend $0.8 billion. Discount stores lead as shopping destinations, supported by deals and promotions.
