When you were a kid, what did you lust after? Just to be clear, that question refers to cars. Exotic cars. I do not need to hear about that actress/actor from a certain movie or a TV show. Besides, as a child of the '80s and '90s, I can guess.

Just to be clear, that question refers to cars. Exotic cars. I do not need to hear about that actress/actor from a certain movie or a TV show. Besides, as a child of the '80s and '90s, I can guess.
No, I want to hear about the cars you lusted after. The Lotus featured in today's UCOTD was one of them, and as mentioned in that post I also had a thing for the Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari F40, and Porsche 959. A video game played a part in that -- the latter two were featured in The Duel: Test Drive II.
I would later drool over the McLaren F1 and the Dodge Viper/Viper GTS. And so many other cars.
What about you? What car did you read about over and over in the buff books when you were a kid? Which one was on your bedroom wall? Did you tag along to the dealer when your parents needed an oil change so you could catch a glimpse -- and maybe sit in -- a certain halo car? Did you beg to go to your local auto show each year to see the object of your affection?
