Female-founded Tequila cocktail company Pimentae has launched its Spicy Margarita variant into five Picturehouse cinemas across the UK.

The new big screen tie-up will see Pimentae's Spicy Margarita cocktails available on tap, offering cinema-goers a gluten-free, vegan-friendly drinks choice that is a blend of El Sueno Blanco Tequila, agave, lime, Scotch Bonnet and jalapeño.
As the ready-to-drink cocktail business evolves into a premium and competitive market showcasing flavour and quality,
Pimentae's Spicy Margarita recently made it into db's list for 2025 as one of the top 10 canned cocktails in the UK.
Speaking to
the drinks business, Pimentae senior national account manager Katie Ward said: "We’re thrilled to bring the Pimentae Spicy Margarita to Picturehouse cinemas, offering film lovers a bold and flavourful cocktail to elevate their movie experience. There’s something magical about pairing the heat of our Scotch Bonnet and Jalapeño-infused margarita with the drama and spectacle of the big screen.”
In celebration of the new release
The Last Showgirl, Pimentae has admitted that it is excited to be featured as the perfect pairing for this film since it “brings together the glitz and glamour of the big screen with the fiery sophistication of the handcrafted Spicy Margarita”.
Pimentae will be stocked at: Picturehouse Central; The Ritzy, Brixton; Ealing Picturehouse; Clapham Picturehouse; City Screen York (Upper Bar) and Cameo, Edinburgh, where it will be available from April 2025.
In the lead-up to International Women's Day tomorrow, Pimentae co-founders Alice Parmiter and Wynter Karo told
db that it is crucial women at the top are represented, especially in spaces and sectors where men would otherwise have predominately been more present.
They explained: "As a female founded and led team, in an industry where women are still vastly underrepresented, we’re proud to be breaking barriers and redefining what leadership looks like in the spirits world. International Women’s Day is a reminder that women belong in every boardroom, every industry, and every success story. At Pimentae, we’re proving that with passion, resilience, and an unshakable vision, women can lead and thrive, even in traditionally male-dominated spaces."
Speaking about the cinema listing, Ward told
db: “The timing couldn’t be better to introduce more people to our handcrafted, ready-to-serve cocktails" and revealed that Pimentae is keen to see what people think of the brand and added: “We can’t wait for cinema-goers to sip, savour, and escape into the world of film with Pimentae in hand."
Pimentae has confirmed that its Spicy Margarita cocktails will retail at the cinemas for just £10 per serving.
