Perenti to exit Khoemacau copper mine in Botswana
Australian mining services group Perenti said on Tuesday that it would conclude its involvement at MMG’s Khoemacau copper mine, in Botswana, at the end of June. The company’s underground mining arm, Barminco, has operated at Khoemacau since the mine’s development began in 2019. “We have appreciated the opportunity to work on the Khoemacau copper mine and wish MMG well with their expansion plans,” said Perenti MD and CEO Mark Norwell.
