PAWS4you Hosts Mardi PAWS! 2025 Gala To Rally Support For Animal Rescue Efforts

The South Florida community came together for a noble cause as PAWS4you hosted its much-anticipated annual gala, this year embracing a vibrant Mardi PAWS theme. Set against the elegant backdrop of the Cruz Building in Coconut Grove, nearly 200 esteemed guests, such as e Ron and Rita McGill and Katherine Fernandez-Rundle, attended to champion PAWS4you’s mission of rescuing and rehabilitating dogs and cats while securing them loving forever homes.

Attendees enjoyed a memorable evening filled with exquisite dining by Mena Catering, dynamic entertainment, and spirited auctions, all in support of the nonprofit’s life-saving work. Funds raised will help cover essential medical treatment, provide shelter for rescued animals, and support adoption initiatives. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will contribute to much-needed renovations of the organization’s aging rescue facility.

A special highlight of the night was the recognition of Mallow the Frenchie, a beloved social media Instagram star known for advocating pet adoption and animal welfare. Mallow and her owner, Gina Tomasetti, have used their platform to shed light on the plight of rescue animals and promote the mission of organizations like PAWS4you.

The evening dazzled with Mardi Gras-inspired attire, festive cocktails, and an engaging live and silent auction. Music and dancing created an electric atmosphere while some of PAWS4you’s adoptable dogs made special appearances, reminding attendees of the heartwarming impact of their contributions.

The event was guided by Gala Chairs Kathy Cowan and Ann Rubino, Ambassador Linda Gibb, and Emcees Cynthia Demos, Julie Guy, and Tamara G. Sponsors such as Pai-Shau, Paul and Kathy Cowan, Frank and Ann Rubino, Liz and Luis Miguel Messianu, Silva and Silva, and Annie and Rick Diaz played a crucial role in making the evening a success. PAWS4you expressed immense gratitude to all supporters whose generosity helps sustain its life-saving mission.
