New Head of Product Group Announced for BLM Group

BLM GROUP USA has announced that Robert Adelman has been promoted to head of product group. In his new role, Adelman will be responsible for leading the company’s team of product managers and business development managers, with the aim of delivering product solutions to meet the evolving needs of its customers.

“Robert has played an instrumental role in the product development initiatives for our tube laser machines during his time with BLM GROUP,” said Mauro Corno, president and COO at BLM GROUP USA. “His understanding of market trends, customer needs and emerging technologies has been invaluable in positioning our company as an industry leader. We are certain of his continued success in his new position, along with his ability to drive further product innovation.”

Since joining BLM GROUP in 2015, Adelman has held multiple positions focused on the company’s tube laser offering, including tube laser trainer, applications specialist and applications engineer. In these roles, Adelman focused on responsibilities ranging from hands-on tube laser operation training to providing customer demonstrations, supporting customers in their purchasing decisions and more. For the last six years, he held the position of North American laser product manager for the company.

Prior to joining BLM GROUP, Adelman served in the U.S. Navy as a submarine fire control technician and master training specialist and studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Tidewater Community College.
