New Balance launches Fresh Foam BB v3 in collaboration with Bricks & Wood

Credits: New Balance New Balance has officially launched the Fresh Foam BB v3, the latest evolution in its basketball footwear line, blending performance innovation with lifestyle appeal. The silhouette was introduced earlier this year in a collaborative release with Los Angeles-based lifestyle label Bricks & Wood. Unveiled ahead of NBA All-Star Weekend in February, the launch colorway paid homage to San Francisco, incorporating black and yellow tones as a nod to the city’s basketball heritage and its role as All-Star host in 2000. The collaboration included a retail pop-up on Maiden Lane, where fans engaged with both brands through exclusive product drops and in-person experiences, including a live talk with Bricks & Wood founder Kacey Lynch and New Balance athlete Darius Garland. Designed with versatility in mind, the Fresh Foam BB v3 is tailored to support dynamic on-court performance. A breathable mesh upper, dual TPU shanks, and a full-length underfoot plate offer stability and responsiveness, while the cushioned heel and Fresh Foam X midsole deliver long-lasting comfort. "The Fresh Foam BB v3 is built for athletes who value both function and aesthetic,” said Myles Williams, Associate Product Manager, Basketball. “We’ve integrated advanced foam technology with contemporary design to serve the next generation of hoopers.” Additional colorways will roll out starting April, including “NB Academy,” “Streetball,” and “Grey Days,” reinforcing New Balance’s continued investment in both performance and cultural relevance in the basketball market.
