Nanozyme Microrobots for Biofilm Eradication

Smart microrobots made of enzyme-mimicking nanoparticle (nanozyme) shelled microcapsules are designed to navigate and treat biofilm infections in complex, confined spaces such as dental root canals. These adaptive microrobots enable precise navigation and localized catalysis, producing reactive oxygen species to efficiently eradicate biofilms on site. Additionally, they ensure full retrievability, addressing significant clinical challenges and paving the way for advanced therapeutic solutions.
