THE DETAILS According to a report published by SCC Online Times, the court also ordered the appointment of local commissioners to conduct search-and-seizure operations at the defendants’ premises to seize the infringing goods.
THE WHY The court found that not only did L’Oreal provide ample evidence of the existence of its trademark and the presence of counterfeit products but also took into consideration the impact of counterfeit products on public health.
