Cheya Thousand is a purpose-driven entrepreneur, emotional intelligence coach, and founder of CT Wellness Co. With over a decade of experience at global corporations such as Amazon and Deloitte, Cheya has dedicated her career to helping individuals and organizations transform from within. Now, through the Cheya Thousand Resilience Scholarship, she’s paying it forward. “Education changed my life—and I want to be part of changing someone else’s. This scholarship is about more than money,” says Cheya. “It’s a reminder that perseverance and self- belief can carry you through anything. I want these students to know that someone sees their efforts and believes in their future.” “The Cheya Thousand Resilience Scholarship represents the very spirit of what we aim to cultivate at LIM—determination, leadership, and the courage to keep going in the face of adversity. Cheya’s journey is a powerful example to our students, and her generosity is a reminder that success is not just about achieving your own goals, but also about reaching back to lift others. We are proud to partner with her in supporting the next generation of changemakers.” LIM FEF Board Chair, Arnie Cohen The scholarship is designed to support students who demonstrate personal resilience, community leadership, and an unwavering commitment to their dreams—especially those who, like Cheya, have had to balance school, work, and life challenges to pursue higher education. More Than Financial Support—A Message of Hope Applicants will be required to submit an essay answering the question: “What does resiliency mean to you? How does it show up for you in your community?”
