Ivanhoe upgrades mineral resource estimate for the Makoko District next to Kamoa-Kakula
TSX-listed Ivanhoe Mines has published an independently verified updated mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the Makoko District, which is within Ivanhoe’s Western Forelands Exploration project, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The MRE now stands at 27.7-million tonnes grading 2.79% copper in the indicated category, as well as 493-million tonnes grading 1.7% copper in the inferred category.
