India’s major ports handled ~855 million tonnes of cargo in FY25, up 4.3 per cent from FY24. POL led commodity volumes, while JNPA handled a record 7.3 million TEUs. Income rose 8 per cent to ₹24,203 crore (~$2.90 billion), and operating surplus grew 7 per cent. Over the decade, cargo rose 47 per cent, container volumes 70 per cent, and financial performance showed strong growth.
