Inflation in Bangladesh drops to 9.17% in Apr 2025
Bangladesh’s point-to-point inflation rate dropped a bit to 9.17 per cent in April from 9.35 per cent in the preceding month due to a March fall in the rate, both in food and non-food items, official statistics show. The rate of non-food inflation fell to 9.61 per cent last month from 9.7 per cent in March. The rate of inflation climbed to a 13-month high of 11.38 per cent in November 2024.
